Quickstart

1. Pick a connector

  • Anyone: https://tools.goforma.com/mcp gives UK tax calculators, GoForma pricing and quotes. No account.
  • GoForma clients: https://mcp.goforma.com/mcp gives your own company's deadlines, filings, post and accountant. You sign in with the email and password you use for the GoForma dashboard.

2. Add it to your assistant

  • Claude: Settings, then Connectors, then Add custom connector. Paste the address.
  • ChatGPT: custom connectors are added from Settings, under Apps and Connectors. Availability depends on your ChatGPT plan.

3. Ask something

Using GoForma, compare my take-home pay on £60,000 profit as a sole trader and as a limited company for 2026/27.

Saying "using GoForma" makes the assistant call the tools instead of answering from memory. More in Starter prompts.

4. Calling the server from code

Both servers speak MCP over streamable HTTP. Any MCP client library works. The public server needs no credentials. The client server uses OAuth 2.0 with PKCE and dynamic client registration, discovered from its protected resource metadata:
